WHOLE Body CryoTherapy. Head to Toe

Many people don't realize WHY CryoTherapy benefits the ENTIRE BODY - even your head. Yes, your head is not submerged in the CryoSpa but what's key to remember about Whole Body CryoTherapy is that the response is SYSTEMIC. What exactly does systemic mean?

systemic [sis-tem´ik]

Pertaining to or affecting the body as a whole. Affecting a number of tissues that perform a common function.

The definition is pretty simple but the science behind it may be hard to understand at first. Because of this, I have broken the process down in 3 phases below.

phase 1. PURIFY

During a 2 to 3 minute session at -240F, blood vessels in your skin’s surface and muscle tissue constrict, forcing blood away from the peripheral tissues and toward your core. In the core, the body’s natural filtration system works to remove toxins and inflammatory properties from the blood.

phase 2. RESTORE

After exiting the CryoSpa, purified blood flows back to the peripheral tissues now enriched with oxygen, nutrients and enzymes - as your blood warms, it enriches the surrounding skin and muscle tissues which increases range of motion.

phase 3. RESULTS

The restoration process begins to take place over the next 48 hours as your body returns to a better than former state. Your body will be left with reduced inflammation, reduced pain and increased energy levels. Recovery times from strenuous workouts and injury are improved and shortened.

These phases are key when explaining Whole Body CryoTherapy! This is what makes it awesome -- it benefits the WHOLE BODY ... and if you still want your head in the fog you can opt for a CryoFacial. We now offer that service too.
